SEGAMAT: Banana plants usually reach a height of about 3 to 4 feet. However, this particular specimen is 6 foot tall.

Which makes it taller than its owner, 50-year-old Sulaimi (name translated).

That's not the only odd thing about this banana plant. It's also got abnormally small fruit. Each is about the size of a man's thumb and the fruit are reported to be inedible.

Its owner Sulami said he had planted the banana tree near a river half year ago.
