"偉" (wei) Popular Chinese Name

TAIPEI: According to a survey conducted by Mainland China's police, the "No.1 name" in China is "偉" (wei), which is part of the four most popular names in China. There are close to 60,000 people called "張偉" (Zhangwei) alone.

According to the Yang Cheng Late News, the mainland police used the "National Citizen Identity Information System" to conduct a preliminary statistical analysis of the names of 200 million citizens from 31 cities.

According to the survey, in the 31 cities, "張偉" (Zhangwei) was the most popular, with "王偉" (Wangwei), "李偉" (Liwei) and "劉偉" (Liuwei) coming in at second, third and fourth place respectively.
