Wanted Felon Found Sleeping Naked Beneath Oil Palm Tree

SEGAMAT: A wanted Indonesian felon was found sleeping naked beneath a palm oil tree and apprehended by the police on Friday, at 1.30 am. The felon, who has been identified as Izan, 27, is suspected to have been involved in a night-time burglary on May 26th in Batu Anam.

Local residents believe the felon was sleeping naked beneath the tree as part of a black magic ritual that would help his criminal activities.

The felon had been found sleeping soundly in the nude on a plastic sheet, with a pillow beneath his head.

When police questioned him about his odd sleeping habit, Izan explained that if he wore clothes while sleeping there, snakes and poisonous insects such as scorpions would crawl into them and bite him. However, if he slept naked, then the snakes and insects would simply crawl along his skin and continue on their way.

After hearing his explanation, the police asked him to get dressed and then brought him to the station for questioning.
