  • One of Chen's kampung chickens laid a mini egg only slightly larger than a 5 sen coin, it's tiny compared to a normal kampung chicken's egg.

SEGAMAT: On Thursday, one of Chen Xingli's chickens laid a mini egg only slightly larger than a 5 sen coin.

The 48-year old Chinese chicken breeder said it wasn't the first time one of his chickens laid a mini egg.

One of his chickens had previously laid a mini egg, but a soft-shell one, whereas the one laid on the previous day had a hard shell.

He believes the egg was laid by one of his year-old kampung chickens.
