Singapore’s Lucky Censer Provides Winning Lottery Number

  • The new owner of the censer asked it for a lucky number in the afternoon, and when night fell the censer caught fire. People took it as a good omen.

SINGAPORE: A “lucky” censer in the Lion City is said to have caught fire after it gave out the lucky number “3212” last Friday (August 31st) due to its extremely good luck.

The number given out by the censer on Friday was picked for the first prize on Sunday (September 2nd). As many as a hundred people won, with the censer’s new owner bagging S$20,000 (around RM45,000) in prize money.

The lucky septuagenarian won ownership of the censer by drawing lots for it. After she became its new owner on Friday, she asked it for a lucky number and received the number “3212”.

She generously shared her fortune with others by writing the number onto a piece of red paper and pasting it in front of the censer where everyone could see it and try their luck on it.

Strangely enough, the censer caught fire that very night. After witnessing what had happened, people immediately felt that it must have been caused by the censer’s extremely good fortune. They felt that they were bound to win!

And that's exactly what they did. On Sunday night, “3212” was announced as the winning number for the lottery’s first prize.
