ZHENGZHOU,CHINA: A man in Zhengzhou (the capital of Henan province) has got a set of really good teeth. Not only are they white and sparkly, but he can actually use them as bottle openers.

30-year-old Hu Yaohui first discovered the incredible strength of his own jaws 10 years ago when he was entertaining guests at his home and couldn’t find a bottle opener to open some bottles of beer. Not one to give up easily, he opened the bottles with his own teeth, which completed their task completely unscathed.

5 years after that, Hu discovered that in addition to opening bottles, his teeth could also be used to bite through cables, just like a pair of pliers.

With a height of less than 162cm, and a frail build, Hu hardly looks like your typical “strongman.” However, his heart and determination definitely fit the bill. He trains his jaw strength every day and is currently trying to break the world record by opening more than 45 bottles of beer in a minute with his teeth.

Unfortunately, his training regimen is causing trouble for his wife. There aren’t that many bottles of beer in their home, and she has to constantly be on the lookout to prevent him from “training” on their furniture or household appliances instead.

Hu is said to have been asked to act as the spokesperson for a toothpaste manufacturer because of his strong white teeth.
