SITIAWAN, PERAK: A chicken breeder located at Sitiawan Simpang Dua came across a curious looking bug on his chicken farm on Wednesday (April 23).

The bug seemed to have some sort of shell on its back and the chicken breeder (Chen) had no idea where it could have come from.

Chen said that he had worked on the farm for many years and had never set eyes on such a bug before. When he showed it to his friends, they all said it was the first time they saw such a thing.

Chen said that this rare bug’s body – which is about half an inch long – was a little similar to that of a spider. However, it moved a little more slowly, perhaps due to the weight of the “shell” on its back.
