SEGAMAT: Wang Cheng Chun, a resident of Segamat, Johor, made a trip to Thailand and spent more than RM300 to acquire three pieces of human-shaped fruit.

It has been understood that the fruit has actually been derived from a natural plant found in Cambodia, and could be a kind of wild vine.

Wang said, before he set off for Thailand he saw from a TV programme that the host found a human-shaped fruit at an aboriginal settlement in Cambodia.

During his trip to Thailand, Wang was lucky enough to have come across the human-shaped fruit, which looks like a whole-body woman statue with a stalk on its head, a peaceful countenance, and a mouth that seems to be perpetually smiling. (Translated by DOMINIC LOH/Sin Chew Daily)
