KANGSAR, PERAK: A giant cassava measured 1 meter long and weighted about 30kg has recently been unearthed here in Kuala Kangsar.

Resident Deng Guorong found the giant cassava, which was believed to be 30 years old, somewhere near his house. He believed that a spirit was living in the cassava and therefore, he dared not to eat it. He kept it for viewing purposes and threw it away later when it started to rot. (Sin Chew Daily)
