TANGKAK, JOHOR: A rare deformed Chinese Pond Turtle has been found in Tangkak!

Retired rubber tapper Yan Xinjing, 73, said that he found the deformed turtle in a ditch near his house one day. He then decided to bring it home.

Yan liked the turtle very much. He said that he has seen Chinese Pond Turtles swimming in the ditch over all these years but it was his first time to see a deformed turtle. He believed that it could bring him good luck. (Translated by SOONG PHUI JEE/ Sin Chew Daily)
