TELUK INTAN: Like alien creatures always seen in scientific foreign films, a baby turtle was found to have only an eye above its nose.

The baby turtle was sent to a pet shop in Teluk Intan by a wholesaler with other baby turtles of the same species. The pet shop owner later found the monocular turtle.

According to the pet shop owner, a customer offered her RM2000 for the monocular turtle. However, she turned down the offer and decided to keep the turtle. It was also said that the turtle has attracted many curious people to the shop to take a look at it.
