KUALA LUMPUR, Tuesday 7 September 2010: Whenever we mention about museums, most of us will usually think of historical relics and static exhibitions. The National Museum is going to break the traditional image of museums in this school holidays by presenting a living snake exhibition called "Pameran Ular lawan Ular". Local "Snake Queen" Noorazhariah Andan has also been invited to live together with a hundred of cobras during the exhibition.
The exhibition is held on 4 September 2010 to 11 October 2010 from 9am to 6pm. Visitor will have a chance to meet about 30 species of snakes, including 12 venomous species, from the United States,.
In addition to the exhibition, there will also be live snake performances and those who are interested may also take a photo with the snakes. Children are also encouraged to participate in coloring contests and snake ladder games.
