Rare "Sunflower" Blooms On Cactus

BAHAU, NEGERI SEMBILAN: Rare "sunflowers" have bloomed on a 10-year-old cactus here.

The plant belonged to Tang Xiguang, a retiree living in Bahau who had planted the cactus in his home. On Monday (April 30th), Tang noticed that there were two bright yellow flowers growing on top of his cactus.

According to what is known, cacti that bloom often have flowers with small white petals. It is rare to see a cactus with flowers as large as a sunflower.
